ABOUT

I am a costume maker and seamstress based in Devon.

 

​I studied at the University of Glamorgan (now the University of South Wales) graduating in 2012 with a foundation degree in Costume Construction for Screen and Stage.

 

​I have always had a passion for sewing and creating costumes, even from a young age, and in my spare time I enjoy creating my own interpretations of costumes from the screen. Having studied at university and gaining valuable experience from a creative family I want to use my skills to work in TV and film as a costume maker.

 

​I currently work as an Alterations Hand at a uniform specialist working with Royal Navy uniforms. I am also a self-employed seamstress and take on commissions. It is a great pleasure to work one-to-one with the client creating anything from a bespoke bowtie for the groom at a wedding to a full Town Crier regalia.
